Dear Palestinians

Assalamualaikum,

For many many years you’ve struggled,
stuck in the dark devilish world..

all you see are people dying,
all you can hear are your parents crying..

We wish our countries can help you,
but even we’re too busy with things to do..

the dunia just has so much to comprise,
that our ummah becomes terrorized..

Some of us are really trying our best,
but there are some who still need to purify their chest.. Read more…

Eid Mubarak!

September 2, 2011 1 comment

Assalamualaikum,

Wow. It’s been so long since I last posted here. Anyway, first thing first. Eid Mubarak to every1! Hope you all had a good Eidul Fitri. :)

Eid Mubarak to all my family members, relatives, and friends! sorry for everything!

Hrm. My Eid? It was nice. I probably got more money this Eid than I ever did before. All about the money right? Yeah. Hurm.. I think there is something really important I’ve realized, I need to try to get closer with my relatives. -,-

I think people nowadays get a little carried away with Eid.

Eid = New clothes! + Money! + Delicious food! ??? oO?

Erk. Wrong. :[

Eid = New clothes! + Money! + Delicious food!  + Reunite with family and relatives! ??? oO?

Yes. Right! :]!

The best part about Eid isn’t about the new clothes, it’s not about the money, and it’s not about the delicious foods. Nope. It’s about realizing how important it is to have a family and relatives in your lives. Think about it. Friends come and go. You meet new friends as life goes on, but your family and relatives are always with you in life. You get to choose who your friends are, but you don’t get to choose who your family and relatives are. They are God’s gift to you.

May ALLAH bless all my family members and relatives~

and urs too. ;p

Assalamualaikum! ^^

Kedatang Ramadhan kali ini aku mengaku, takde la macam kedatangan Ramadhan sebelum ni. Sebelum ni, aku menyambut kedatangan Ramadhan dengan keluarga. Berpuasa dengan keluarga = Wonderful moment~ Bukan nak kata lemah semangat pulak, tapi feel nak sambut bulan Ramadhan kali ni mungkin kurang sikit sebab parents and adik-adik duduk 300+ kilometer daripada tempat aku, Shah Alam. Erk, tapi memang rasa pelik la bila takde feel nak sambut bulan Ramadhan. Isk. Kenape ni uqbah? tepuk dada, tanya iman.

Remind Yourself Before Reminding Others

July 4, 2011 5 comments

Assalamualaikum!

Wow! It’s been so long since I last posted an article here. Ok, maybe not so long. Only about 2 months but I want to become a journalist. So, as a journalist, you really have to write A LOT! And the fact that I haven’t written an article or update my blog in 2 months really means I need to write more often.

Ok, back on topic. Two months ago, I was preparing myself for a new life at matriculation college of Johor (KMJ). Woooow. I still remember how clueless I was to how my new life was going to be like there. Before I went to KMJ, I received a lot of reaaalllyy good advice from my parents, ustazah(s), aunts, uncles, and of course, friends. They basically told me to continue my mission for da’wah and to stay focused on my studies.

During my first few days at KMJ, I quickly made a lot of new friends. I am so glad and relieved to say, so many people there were really friendly and open-minded. It seemed like everyone was on the same page. We are here because we want to begin a new life, a new start. Read more…

To All My Future Friends

May 9, 2011 Leave a comment

Assalamualaikum my dear future friends,

It’s weird how we meet new faces as life goes on, right? Sometimes, we wish the friends we are with remain with us forever. Sometimes, we feel like things will be a lot different without our old friends. However, as life goes on, we will meet new faces. We will start to deal with different people, interact with different people, and depend on different people. And these people suddenly turn out to be the ones who shape a different you, a new you. I guess it’s just the way we mature huh?

In an authentic Hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend.”

Life seems to go on so quickly. I am about to enter yet another new point of my life where I will meet many new people. Unfortunately though, I can’t predict the future. So I don’t even know who you are. I don’t even know who I’m writing to. But where ever you may be, and whoever you may be, I’m looking forward to see you. I’m looking forward to begin a whole new adventure with you, share the good times and the bad times with you, help each other chase our goals and dreams in life, and to also have trust in each other that we can all work together to become a better Muslim.

However, I’m kind of scared…. because there are so many people out there who are influenced to live life according to the devil. I am scared that I will end up to be one of them. So whoever you are and where ever you may be, please take good care of me, correct me when I’m wrong, and protect me from all the devil’s efforts to carry me away from the right path. Find me and insya ALLAH, I’ll find you. Read more…

Jom Jaga Pandangan Dan Pergaulan

Assalamualaikum..

For All The Young Muslims

March 20, 2011 Leave a comment

Assalamualaikum,

Alhamdulillah, ALLAH has given me the health and opportunity to speak out and write whatever is on mind. Therefore, I want to use this opportunity to remind us young Muslims including myself, that we are the future generation of this ummah. If it’s not us who will shape the future of our ummah, who else would it be? If it’s not us who make plans for the future of our ummah, who else would it be? So to all my young muslim friends out there, let’s put aside all the entertainments that benefit nothing to us in return. Let’s start focusing on the future of our ummah. And to all my young muslim friends out there, now is our time to shine in life, it doesn’t matter who you are.. The ummah needs you.. No matter how much you’ve been through in life, no matter how few your accomplishments you’ve made in life, and no matter how few your friends are in this life, remember that you’re still young. Don’t waste your youth, use it to be true believers of ALLAH.

Imam Ali ibne Abi Talib (a.s.) has said: “Surely the heart of the youth is like the uncultivated ground – it will accept whatever you throw upon it [and that is what will grow from it].”[37]

Come on young Muslims, you’ve gotta rise up. The entertainments today have carried us away from the true way of life, Islam. It has deceived us and inspired us to waste our youth dreaming for wealth, women, and all the other things that this life has to offer. And some of us young muslims have fallen into obsession with these things. We smoke, drink, go out with girls, and all the other things that go against Islam. Are these the things that the ummah hopes out of the future generation? Come on young Muslims, we still have a long way ahead of us. We’ve got to stop all this now before it’s too late. Although we’re still young, we’ve got to remember death. So let’s drop all of this. Seek repentancece from ALLAH, and join all the other young muslims on their journey to awaken the ummah.

The Messenger of Allah (s.w.a.) has said, “Surely Allah loves that young person who spends his youth in the obedience of Allah, the Most High.”

Come on young muslims, it’s no surpri se. Read more…

Kenapa Dakwah?

February 23, 2011 Leave a comment

Assalamualaikum..

We just don’t know the style of approach. Kenapa? Read more…

The Purpose of Life (Part 2)

January 28, 2011 Leave a comment

Assalamualaikum,

In my previous post, I ended with how the purpose of life is to worship God. Today, there are many religions and most if not all of the religions have one thing thing in common; they all believe in God and that there is only one God..

So, how do all these religions have this same thing in common? Because all of these religions are from the same origin. The religions slowly started to differ due to some mixes of cultures, traditions, philosophical beliefs, etc.. However, out of all these religions, there is only one religion that never changed, that have always approached the same teaching, and that will always be the only truthful religion. What is that religion? Islam. Islam and Judaism are the only religions out of all the other religions that believe in only one God and that He is incomparable. Islam is also the only religion that only has one religious text, the Quran. The Quran is the final revelation which contains only the Literal Word of God and is also the finest literature that ever existed.  Read more…

The Purpose of Life (Part 1)

January 14, 2011 Leave a comment

Assalamualaikum..

Ever since I got done with SPM, my desire to contribute to this ummah continues to grow. I have so much free time in my hands and I feel like I’m kind of wasting it. I’ve been trying to find a job these days but I never got one. Now, I’m starting to think if I should just give up finding a job. Maybe, I can try earning money by doing dakwah. This would fulfill both of my needs, money and my desire to contribute for the ummah.

Why do I have a strong desire to contribute for this ummah and why is dakwah so important? We don’t quite live in a world surrounded with people who are committed to Islam today. Instead, we kind of live in a world where we are trained to forget the purpose of life. Today, happiness depends on committing sins and wasting time. Isn’t it sad to know that today we live in a world where everybody not only forget their purpose of life, but also forget who their Creator is? ALLAH has promised heaven to those who spent their life seeking for good deeds and following His orders. Today, we ignore this. We would rather go to hell than heaven.

Have you ever taken the moment to just sit back and think about the purpose of life? Why are we here? Why are we born? What is the purpose of life? Could the purpose of life simply be to eat, sleep, work, and just enjoy whatever life has to offer us? Look at it in a Read more…
